We are a learning academy based in Decatur, GA and take an innovative approach to teaching through the Abeka, Creative, and Pinnacle Curricula. We care for children from 6 weeks to 14 years old, and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development to ensure they thrive in all stages of their education and lives.

We are able to offer a wide variety of activities, including music, art, dance, karate, and so much more!

Infants

Our qualified teachers and instructors are dedicated to giving each infant the love, attention, and simulation they need to flourish while away from home. They offer kind and loving attention, suitable for their age, such as cuddling, singing, rocking to talking and gentle movement.

We utilize specialized cleaning units and air filters to remove airborne particles and irritants, creating better air quality for young, growing bodies.

Toddlers

Naturally inquisitive and trusting, toddlers at Decatur Scholars are supported in exploring the world around them with care and attention. Our program is designed to provide stimulating activities and group interactions to nurture their innate curiosity.

Through the Pinnacle Curriculum, we ensure they build their fine and gross motor skills while engaging in age-appropriate art and academic activities. This will include learning basic words, colors, shapes, and numbers; playing simple games; and developing relationships with their friends.

2-Year-Olds

The Pinnacle 2-Year-Old Curriculum establishes learning areas that focus on dramatic play, creative arts, language development, and sensory exploration.

Your child will also engage in group activities with their peers so they can explore and strengthen key social skills such as cooperation, sharing, and taking turns. Our program continues to build upon the academic foundations introduced in our Toddlers program.

Preschool - 3 Year-Olds

This innovative program blends the Abeka and Creative Curricula to support developmentally appropriate skill development and build sound academic foundations. We introduce reading through phonics and further academic skills such as math, language, social skills, and physical development.

Our preschool program also includes Spanish language classes and computer lessons!

Pre-Kindergarten - 4 Years-Old

Continuing from our innovative Preschool Program, our Pre-Kindergarten program follows the Abeka and Creative Curricula. We prepare each child for kindergarten and a lifetime love of learning by integrating academics with a continued focus on behavior management, self-esteem building, and developing independence.

We continue to offer Spanish language classes and computer classes in our Pre-K Program.
